Do you love to save money and time? DIY this awesome vinegar cleaning gel!
Today we make a SUPER easy DIY, vinegar cleaning gel, that will save you time and money and leave things like stainless, counter tops, showers, tubs, etc sparkly clean without much elbow grease.
DIY Vinegar Cleaning Gel
3 ingredients: Vinegar, Corn Starch, and Lemon EO
This gel works great for cutting soap scum, but also for hard to clean areas around faucets (the gel stays put and works its magic for a bit until you’re ready to clean it off)
In a saucepan, add 3/4 cup white vinegar, 3 Tablespoons corn starch. Stir and cook on low heat for about 5-6 minutes. Mixture will begin to thicken like gravy. When that happens, remove from heat and continue stirring. If mixture becomes too thick, stir in more vinegar until desired consistency is reached. Once fairly cool, add about 10 drops of doTERRA Lemon essential oil.
Store in airtight jar. I just reach in and use my hands to spread on the area I’m cleaning, but you can also add to a squeeze bottle. Personally I like to keep things simple so the jar works for me.
It takes less than 15 minutes to make from start to finish and costs around 60 cents. I used this on some built up soap scum in the bath yesterday. I let it sit for about 10 minutes and the crud wiped right away.
Gonna clean the kitchen later and use this on my stainless surfaces (especially the ones that need a little extra attention)
If you make this, be sure to share your cleaning success stories in the comments!
